The Early Reading First Program

This is a pilot program featuring The OWL curriculum for early reading. The program teaches our 3-5 year old teachers how to present and explore books to maximize enjoyment and content. They hear and participate in the reading of the stories, while learning rhyme, letters and phonics. Creative dramatics, art projects and music all combine to make good readers.

The Seeds to Success program

This program comes from Child Care Resources and Thrive by Five. It is designed to help child care centers upgrade their services to children and families. Some of the benefits are scholarships for teachers, purchasing needed equipment and improving communications with families and the community. The goal is to move the center toward National Accreditation.
